The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) and Scarborough Health Network (SHN) are hosting the new and innovative Building Communities Through Inclusive Health conference which will bring together triads of presenters from academic research, clinical expertise, and community perspectives to address health inequities across Canada. It is being held on October 13-14, 2023, at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Throughout this two-day event, participants will hear from clinicians, scholars, and community leaders to discuss how to bridge health inequities experienced by many in the Scarborough community and marginalized populations nationwide. This unique 'tri-perspective' will provide a richer and more complex understanding of the interaction of social conditions and health, as well as their implications towards achieving a more resilient and equitable health system.
