Bringing together the leading minds and talent of today to learn, explore and discover where we are taking healthcare tomorrow - The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) and Scarborough Health Network (SHN) invite you to be a part of the new and innovative Building Communities Through Inclusive Health conference which will bring together triads of presenters from academic research, clinical expertise, and community perspectives to address health inequities across Canada.
Throughout this two-day event, being held on October 13-14, 2023, at the University of Toronto Scarborough, participants will hear from clinicians, scholars, and community leaders to discuss how to bridge health inequities experienced by many in the Scarborough community and marginalized populations nationwide. This unique 'tri-perspective' will provide a richer and more complex understanding of the interaction of social conditions and health, as well as their implications towards achieving a more resilient and equitable health system.
