Fred is an experienced health care leader with a strong track record across acute, post-acute, pediatric, adult, and geriatric care. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President, Clinical Programs at Scarborough Health Network where he led strategic initiatives across Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, and more. During the pandemic, he served as Operations Chief, playing a pivotal role in expanding critical care and emergency services, and developing an IPAC hub and spoke model for long-term care and retirement homes—innovations that significantly elevated health care delivery standards. Fred obtained his Master of Business Administration from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and holds a Master in Nursing (Community Health) from Toronto Metropolitan University. He is also a Certified Health Executive and holds a Lean Health Care Executive Green Belt from the Ontario Hospital Association.

With over 25 years of health care experience in a variety of progressive leadership positions in the health sector, Carole's most recent roles include interim Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive, as well as Chief Operating Officer at Halton Healthcare. An experienced health care executive with a strong track record in managing complex, multi-site operations, Carole has led significant transformations within health care systems, demonstrating a keen ability to integrate strategic planning with fiscal oversight. Carole holds a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakehead University. Her professional development is complemented by a Green Belt Certification from Leading Edge and a completion of the Health Care Management Program from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

| Anne-Marie Newton President and CEO, CAMH FoundationAnne-Marie Newton was announced as new President and CEO of CAMH Foundation, effective May 5. She serves as Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Foundation. With over 20 years in the field of institutional advancement, she has devoted her career to securing philanthropic support for leading education and health care organizations in the United States and Canada. Prior to joining CAMH Foundation, Anne-Marie served in progressively senior roles at Duke University, Crescent School and SickKids Foundation. She has deep experience with comprehensive fundraising campaigns, particularly with the $2.3B Campaign for Duke, the $1.5B SickKids VS Campaign and the $500M No One Left Behind Campaign at CAMH.
A longstanding leader in the fundraising and advancement field with deep commitment to operationalizing inclusion, equity, diversity and access into academic and health care fundraising, she focuses her management efforts on values-based team leadership, cross-functional collaboration and individual mentorship. | Scott Patterson Vice President, Facilities Operations and Capital Development, William Osler Health SystemWilliam Osler Health System (Osler) announced the appointment of Scott Patterson as Vice President, Facilities Operations and Capital Development, effective April 9, 2025. Scott originally joined Osler in November 2024 as Strategic Advisor Lead in Facilities Operations & Capital Development, advising on Osler’s vital Capital Development projects while providing integral strategic support and guidance on performance and quality, compliance, risk management and contract governance within Facilities Operations.
Scott has held leadership positions at University Health Network, Sinai Health and EllisDon, and brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, and planning and facilities management. His leadership spans both the health care and private sectors, bringing a wealth of knowledge to his new position at Osler.
