Hospital Members
All of Ontario's public hospitals are members of the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA). The OHA supports member hospitals through advocacy, member engagement and knowledge transfer, labour relations, and data and analytics with the goal of helping hospitals build a better health system. The OHA is also attuned to the broader strategic questions facing the future of the province's health care system and we work to ensure Ontario's hospitals have a voice in shaping this longer-term vision.
Non-Hospital Memberships
The OHA welcomes applications for membership from non-profit and for-profit health care organizations in Ontario and beyond. Medicine Professional Corporations are also eligible for membership in the OHA.
As a member, your organization is entitled to valuable benefits, including:
- Eligibility to participate in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), one of the largest and most successful pension plans in Canada.
- Participation in group home and auto insurance through the Personal.
- Deep discounts on annual compensation data for over 400 different hospital jobs, which provide crucial information to support human resources-related decisions and determine competitiveness in the labour market.
Memberships in the OHA are issued by the OHA Board four times a year.
Membership Annual Dues
Annual membership dues are calculated based on membership class and organization size. The OHA uses the information in membership applications to determine the membership class and dues rates for prospective organizations.
If you would like further details regarding annual dues, including a preliminary estimate of annual dues for your organization, please email membership@oha.com.
