Considered a flagship resource of the Ontario Hospital Association, the Guide to Good Governance was first launched in 2005 and is considered the definitive guide for good governance practices across hospital boards. Since its initial launch, the Guide has been updated twice in response to our evolving health care landscape and is now in its fourth edition. The current edition reflec​ts new and emerging legislative and regulatory considerations, updated accountabilities, and contains additional resource templates to support hospital boards. The Guide is designed to help hospitals focus on the art of strong governance by providing foundational commentary and templates that shape baseline governance structures.
