A Canadian election has been called and will be held on September 20, 2021. Over the next few weeks, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) will be engaging with each of the political parties, participating in social media and media discussions, and encouraging hospitals to echo our messaging at a local level.  

Canada's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the key election issues, and the OHA is calling on each of the political parties to commit to strengthening Canada's health care system by increasing federal health transfers to the provinces and investing in health research.
