Jasmine Tehara is the Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Retirement Operations responsible for all day-to-day operational functions and the transformation strategy for Canada, U.S. and Hong Kong retirement operations at Manulife. The retirement operations division has approximately 1,800 employees across six countries. Manulife's Group Pensions business contributed over 50 per cent of Global Wealth and Asset Management's operating earnings and is the eighth largest group retirement manager in the world. Jasmine's expertise is in driving culture change while rebuilding businesses as an internal transformation expert leveraging data, digitization, and change management.
Prior to joining Manulife in 2016, Jasmine held progressively senior roles at TD in Canada and the U.S., spanning Personal Banking, Wealth, Asset Management, and Human Resources leading transformations and integration of acquired businesses.
Jasmine is actively involved in the community, currently serves as a Board member of the OHA and as Chair of its Finance and Audit committee. Prior to that, she served on the Board of Directors at WoodGreen Community Services for nine years, including four years as Board Chair.
