Kraymr Grenke
Board Member
Kraymr Grenke is an accomplished governance leader, public-sector board chair, and entrepreneur with a deep commitment to advancing health system excellence, postsecondary education, and community well-being in Northern Ontario.
Born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, he currently serves as Chair of the Timmins and District Hospital Board of Directors, Chair of the Timmins Police Service Board, Chair of the Board of Governors of Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology, Board Member of the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation, and Board Member of the Spruce Needles Golf Club.
His previous leadership roles include President of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce (2023–24), Vice-Chair of the City of Timmins Committee of Adjustments, Executive Treasurer of the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, Chair of the City of Timmins Municipal Accommodation Tax Committee, President of the Spruce Needles Golf Club, Board Governor and Academic Senator of Laurentian University. He brings a strong record of board-level leadership in complex public-sector environments and is a vocal advocate for rural and remote service equity, health human resources innovation, and modernized governance.
Kraymr is the Founder and Principal of MLG Consulting, a management consulting firm that supports Indigenous economic development corporations, private-sector clients, and not-for-profit organizations across Northern Ontario. His firm specializes in business planning, grant writing, feasibility studies, zoning and by-law amendments, philanthropy planning, and public-sector governance support.
Kraymr has recently completed a professional certification in Enterprise Risk Management from York University.
He is also the President of North Signal, a Northern Ontario-based telecommunications equipment rental company that ensures reliable connectivity is available for residents, businesses, and travellers across remote and rural communities in the province. Kraymr is known for his deep understanding of Northern health system realities, his collaborative leadership style, and his ability to translate grassroots community needs into high-level advocacy. He brings a systems-focused, community-first mindset to all of his work, with a passion for collaboration, equity, and building resilient Northern communities.
