Jasmine Tehara

Vice-Chair​

​Jasmine Tehara is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Manulife Canada and is responsible for both the day-to-day operational functions and the operations transformation strategy for Canadian business lines covering group life, health, and disability insurance, retail and affinity individual insurance, and Manulife bank. Most recently, she was the COO for Global Retirement in the Wealth & Asset Management business.  

Jasmine is experienced in driving culture change while rebuilding businesses as an internal transformation expert leveraging data, digitization, and change management. In 2024, she was recognized as a VersaFi (formerly Women in Capital Markets) Champion of Change. Prior to joining Manulife in 2016, Jasmine held progressively senior roles at TD in Canada and the U.S., spanning Personal Banking, Wealth, Asset Management, and Human Resources leading transformations and integration of acquired businesses.

Jasmine is actively involved in the community, currently as a board member of the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health (CAMH) and previously served nine years on the Board of Directors at WoodGreen Community Services, with four years as Board Chair.
