​​​​The Education Committee was established in 2020 with a mandate to provide advice to the OHA on various issues related to academic affairs, teaching, and education in Ontario hospitals. The committee communicates with OHA management and sector partners on strengthening the education mission of hospitals as well as provides a forum for shared communication and education among members. The committee is currently co-led​ by Chris Gillies, Vice President, Medical and Academic Affairs at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Dr. Jacqueline James, Vice President, Education at Sinai Health.
