Over 30,000 professionals attend our more than 150 education and career development opportunities each year.  Our members attend at a discount, including 50% off conferences and seminars and 40% off HealthAchieve. 

Held each November, HealthAchieve is the must-attend conference and exhibition that inspires ideas and innovation among health care and business leaders from around the world – by showcasing the latest health care products, services and technologies, by promoting best practices and by providing first-rate education and networking opportunities.   More than 50 educational sessions and 250 speakers are featured – including, in 2011, Parkinson’s activist and celebrated actor Michael J. Fox.

Each year the OHA provides a myriad of educational opportunities in addition to this signature event – including over 60 conferences and seminars, certificate courses toward the Diploma in Health Care Management, broadcast and internet-based distance learning options, and self-directed online learning such as Discovery Campus and Harvard ManageMentor10.  And our Governance Centre of Excellence (GCE) delivers industry-leading education and services – tailored to satisfy each stage of the trustee life cycle – including the authoritative Guide to Good Governance.
