Region 2 Education Conference and Annual Meeting - Trustee Session

As part of its commitment to trustees, staff, managers and volunteers at member hospitals and other organizations in the health sector, the OHA offers a number of educational conferences each year that aim to share best practices and information about industry-wide trends and issues that are important to hospitals.
As you are aware, the OHA Region 2 Education Conference and Annual Meeting will be held from May 31 - June 1, 2005 at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa. The Conference will feature a special Trustee Session on June 1 from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Ottawa’s Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel in the MacDonald Room. At this session, OHA Board Chair, Sheila Jarvis will address Trustees and present outcomes of the May 25th Members Meeting, as well as other issues of interest to Region 2 Trustees. Valmay Barkey, Executive Director, Community Care, City of Kawartha Lakes and Past Chair, Ross Memorial Hospital, will also be speaking at the session.
