OHA Introduces a New Look for its Web site
For the Attention of
Hospital CEOs, OHA Board of Directors and CACN Members
From Hilary Short
President and Chief Executive Officer
In recognition of the growing needs of our members and the public, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) is pleased to launch an updated web site that has been designed to celebrate our 80th anniversary milestone, and to symbolize our dynamic new strategic directions for 2004-2007. The site will also provide our members and the public with easier access to the most up-to-date information on health care issues, OHA initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
A key priority of the OHA is timely and informative communications to its members and the public. As the health care system continues to face rapid change, using the Internet to share relevant information has never been more important.
In addition to highlighting the OHA’s new logo and colours, the web site features a completely updated homepage that is organized into key sections for easier navigation. The key sections include, OHA Programs, Professional Development & Events, Communications, and About OHA, which will provide a more complete look at the organization’s legacy, while also providing a glimpse into its future with a new “Strategic Directions” page.
The site also includes an intuitive “Search” function, as well as e-commerce functionality that will enable the OHA to sell online, its conferences, continuing education opportunities and publications.
Please take a few minutes to go to www.oha.com/ and navigate through our new and evolving site. Feedback regarding the new site is encouraged, and may be sent via email to webmaster@oha.com
