OHA 2007 Federal Budget Summary and Analysis
On Monday, March 19, 2007, Canada’s Finance Minister, the Honourable Jim Flaherty, presented the Harper government’s second Budget to the House of Commons. The 2007 Federal Budget, entitled “Aspire to a Stronger, Safer Canada”, and its accompanying documents, are available at:

The OHA has developed a brief summary of the proposed Budget. This summary is attached to this Bulletin.
In terms of next steps, OHA Policy and Public Affairs will monitor the legislative progress of the 2007 Federal Budget, as well as its impact on the 2007 Ontario Budget, which will be read on Thursday, March 22. The OHA will update Members about new developments as they arise.
