“Your Health Care – Be Involved” is an initiative developed and managed by the Ontario Hospital Association. Originally launched within hospitals in September 2005, it was the first campaign of its kind in Ontario. “Your Health Care – Be Involved” seeks to empower patients and promote better health outcomes by bringing the advice and expertise of health professionals together through five common-sense patient safety “tips”. These tips help ensure that patients have the information they need to make the most of every health care experience.
