Empowering and engaging patients to speak up and ask questions about their care can make for a safer health care experience. Educating patients to become active partners in their health care, improves the patient experience and quality of care overall.
Through the development of the three “Your Health Care – Be Involved” patient campaigns the OHA is helping the people of Ontario to take ownership in their health care; improving the culture of safety in Ontario’s health care system.
