The OHA has identified, as one of its strategies outlined in the OHA Provincial Health Human Resources (HR) Strategic Plan 2008-2011, improving the process of recruiting, retaining, and integrating internationally educated health professionals (IEHPs) in the health care workforce in Ontario.
The OHA is committed to working in partnership with the government, regulatory bodies, educators, and health care providers to identify strategies and leading practices that assist in this process.
OHA’s initiatives to date focus on:

2. Providing Educational Opportunities
3. Developing a Resource Centre
