Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) and SMGH Foundation are honoured to have been chosen as host of the 2013 Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) Executive Golf Tournament, taking place on July 10th at The Oaks Golf Club in Delaware.
The Oaks is one of the finest private golf courses in Ontario. The OHA Tournament, Middlesex Masters, will be presented with all the style and tradition of other preeminent golf events held annually in Augusta, Georgia.
Beginning with a warm Middlesex Masters' welcome, including a signature drink, expect little extras that will help make the day memorable, including a free car detailing, concierge club service and great food!
You can follow your score and those of your friends on the Leader Board, while you enjoy great Italian food and wine on the course, courtesy of Pink Cadillac sponsor, Precise ParkLink. Participants will also have the chance to compete for the Middlesex Masters' version of the famous Green Jackets. This year, we will be presenting a jacket to each member of the winning foursome.
I hope that you will be able to join us for the tournament, as well as the exclusive Pink Cadillac Reception the night before. The reception will be held on the estate of Mr. Steve Plunkett, a renowned car collector and generous healthcare philanthropist, who is also the son of the famous Canadian physician Dr. Earl Plunkett, co-inventor of the world's most-prescribed hormone replacement therapy.
The Pink Cadillac Reception is your chance to tour Steve’s private automobile collection in his Cadillac Auto Salon, a replica building of the 1930's grand ballrooms of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. There will be a cocktail reception and live auction, along with exclusive access to a limited number of additional tickets for a chance to win a Trip for Two to the 2014 Masters in Augusta. The winner will be awarded VIP tickets to the event, and travel to and from the Masters on a private jet, to return on the same evening.
Proceeds from the 2013 OHA Executive Golf Tournament and Pink Cadillac Reception will support the expansion of breast cancer programs available at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
