Toronto – The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top 90 Employers for 2010.

Greater Toronto’s Top 90 Employers is an annual competition recognizing employers that lead in their industries by offering exceptional places to work.  The winners were announced in a special section of the Toronto Star on Saturday, October 17, 2009.

“It is both an honor and a pleasure to be named among the GTA’s top employers”, says Tom Closson, President and CEO, The Ontario Hospital Association.  “I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all of our staff.  It is through their efforts and commitment that make the OHA both a top employer and a place where employees thrive”.

In addition to being recognized earlier this year as one of the “Top 10 Places Where Employees Thrive”, providing a dynamic workplace for employees built on collaboration, trust and team work, the OHA provides subsidized tuition fees for employees who want to continue their education, offers parental leave top-up benefits to employees who are new parents, and extends fully-paid health coverage to active employees.
