Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as one of “Greater Toronto’s Top Employers” for a third consecutive year.

“The OHA prides itself on creating a superior work environment where our employees are valued,” said OHA President and CEO Tom Closson.  “I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all of our staff.  Their efforts and dedication make the OHA a top employer.”

“The OHA promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding, and we have worked hard to achieve our high employee engagement rate,” says Julie Giraldi, the OHA’s Chief Human Resources Officer and VP, Health HR Leadership.

Greater Toronto’s Top Employers is an annual competition that recognizes employers that are industry leaders because they offer exceptional work environments.

The OHA was evaluated on a standard set of criteria, including: (1) physical workplace; (2) work atmosphere; (3) health, financial and family benefits; (4) vacation and time off; (5) employee communications; (6) performance management; (7) training and skills development; and (8) community involvement.
