Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) has posted new patient experience indicators and data on the myhospitalcare.ca website, giving Ontarians an opportunity to learn more about how their local hospitals are performing by location, type of care, indicator, or hospital name.
myhospitalcare.ca was designed to promote public access to hospital performance information in a way that is easy to understand and navigate.
“By making hospital performance information easy for people to access, myhospitalcare.ca is empowering patients and demonstrating hospitals’ commitment to transparency,” said OHA President and CEO Tom Closson.
By promoting health system transparency, myhospitalcare.ca is meant to inspire improved performance, enhance patient safety and strengthen the public’s confidence in Ontario’s hospitals.
