Guidelines For The Development Of Hospital Policies On Managing Abuse: Roles And Responsibilities Of Hospital Boards
Patient and staff abuse has been identified as an issue within Ontario's health system. The objective of "zero tolerance" has been adopted by the OHA, with a mandate to develop comprehensive guidelines for hospitals to use in the development or revision of their own policies on abuse. This publication highlights specifics for the hospital board, outlining the board's roles and responsibilities in the development and/or revision of the hospital's abuse program.
