This conference will help health care leaders with strategies to leverage the employee management aspect of their role to enhance the health care goals of improving patient satisfaction and safety, operation efficiency, and employee engagement. What are the most important actions health care leaders can take to enhance the value and sustainability of Ontario's health care system? How can Human Resources best contribute to achieving this goal?

In addition to strategic HR and leadership issues, there will be pragmatic coverage of: absentee management - union, management, and arbitrator perspectives, healthy workplace outcomes, a roadmap for your Bill 168 compliance agenda, and an update of the Province’s Performance and Accountability approach and what this means to human resources.
