The final webcast in this four-part special series*, developed by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) and the Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres (OACCAC), will examine ethical issues related to finding the right balance between patient choice and timely, efficient transitions to alternate levels of care from hospital.
This final webcast will also touch upon the need for open communication with patients as well as address the most prevalent myths concerning legislation and regulations guiding the transition of care from hospital to long-term care/community.
