As part of its role to monitor and evaluate the quality of Ontario’s health care system, Health Quality Ontario (HQO) has been publicly reporting on the quality of long-term care (LTC) in Ontario for the past several years. Over time, HQO has expanded LTC home-level public reporting from 74 homes in 2010, to 130 homes in 2011, and 299 homes in 2012. Further expansion is underway: by the end of September 2012, HQO will report quality indicator results for all 600+ homes in Ontario on its website (lhttp://hqontario.ca/en/reporting/ltc/).

On July 25, join HQO and its partners – the Canadian Institute for Health Information, the Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors, and the Ontario Long Term Care Association- for this webcast, which will provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about the province-wide expansion of LTC home-level public reporting.
