HBAM Education

Local Health Integration Networks (LHIN), hospitals and Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) are invited to attend the upcoming HBAM education sessions.

HBAM is a new, made-in-Ontario, methodology designed to promote the objectives of the Ontario health care system through funding policy. Once implemented, HBAM will support evidence-based distribution of funding to LHINs and health service provider organizations.

OBJECTIVE
The goal of these sessions is to provide opportunities for LHINs, hospitals and CCACs to learn about HBAM. The focus will be on the methodology of HBAM and its role in funding and planning. These sessions are not meant to be for the discussion of specific implementation and policy implications related to HBAM. These issues will be discussed at other sessions tentatively scheduled for the end of October. Further details will be provided in future communiqués.
