The Mental Health and Addiction Provincial Leadership Council was established in March 2005 with a mandate to advise OHA on issues affecting mental health and addictions in Ontario. The Council will communicate to OHA Advocacy Committee, Board, Government and other stakeholders on issues impacting mental health and addictions and will provide a forum for shared communication and education.
Membership of the Council consists of CEO's, Vice Presidents and Chief of Psychiatrists from both specialty mental health hospitals and acute hospitals with mental health beds and/or large addiction programs.
