Revised LHIN Boundaries Available on MOHLTC Website
For the Attention of Hospital CEOs, Board Chairs, OHA Board of Directors and CACN Members
From Steve Orsini, Vice President, Policy and Public Affairs
As you may be aware, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) has posted its revised Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) boundaries on its website. Visit www.health.gov.on.ca/transformation to view the revised LHIN maps and well as other supporting information and tools. Comments on the revised LHIN boundaries should be forwarded to Anne Dundas at 416-205-1325.
To provide members with additional resources on the topic of LHINs, the OHA recently developed a LHIN Toolkit. The purpose of the initiative was to equip hospital leaders and communicators with information as they begin to speak with communities, politicians, and the media about the future of LHINs. The Toolkit was sent to members as part of a Member Bulletin package, and can also be found at under "Communications/Member Bulletins" (login required).
For any questions about LHINs, please contact Anne Dundas at 416-205-1325. For any questions about the Toolkit please contact Anthony Dale, Director, Public Affairs at 416-205-1348, or Cara Francis, OHA Public Affairs Specialist at 416-205-1371.
