Review of LHIN Integrated Health Service Plan IHSP Priorities
In an effort to gain perspective on the regional priorities of the 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs), the OHA has reviewed each of the Integrated Health Service Plans (IHSPs) and prepared two snap-shot reviews of the priorities and broad action items as they are detailed in these plans. The first review organizes the priorities according to LHIN, the second focuses on the priorities.
The overview is intended to serve as a resource for understanding the implementation strategies LHINs have set out to date.
The IHSPs were informed by an extensive environmental scan and community engagement process involving a range of stakeholders, aimed at capturing the diversity of experiences, insights and health care patterns existing in each LHIN. It is intended that each plan will guide the activities of the LHIN and its health service providers over the next three years, beginning in April 2007.
