Ontario Health Coalition Launching Provincial Health Care Tour Warning against Privatization_Tour to Begin July 18 in Kenora
The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) has learned that the Ontario Health Coalition (OHC) – a public interest group on health care in Ontario – will be touring the province with a replica of the historical Trojan horse to “warn of the dangers of health care privatization”, according to a news release that was distributed by the OHC today. The tour begins tomorrow (Wednesday, July 18) in Kenora, and will travel west to east, visiting communities, summer fairs, festivals, and health care facilities in the time ahead.
While there is no additional information provided about future dates and locations, the OHA will be monitoring any news coverage of this tour very closely, and will continue to keep members updated with information.
If you have any questions, please contact Chris McPherson, OHA Public Affairs at cmcpherson@oha.com or at 416-205-1305.
