OHA 2007 Pre-Budget Presentation to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs
Today, OHA Board Chair Ruthe-Anne Conyngham and OHA President and CEO Hilary Short presented the OHA 2007 Ontario budget recommendations to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs (SCFEA) at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
The OHA raised the following topics in its submission:
- Hospital Accountability Agreements;
- Working capital deficits;
- E-Health, and;
- Alternate level of care
The OHA also provided information regarding hospitals’ Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) membership that could yield savings for taxpayers by building on the strong safety record in Ontario’s hospitals.
