Complex Continuing Care and Rehabilitation Video Communications Package

On June 10, 2008, the Ontario Hospital Association’s (OHA) Complex Continuing Care and Rehabilitation (CCC and Rehab) Provincial Leadership Council launched a video highlighting the importance of CCC and
Rehab services in strengthening health system capacity and improving patient flow, and the system-wide benefits of ensuring these programs are funded and resourced appropriately.

The launch event, which took place at Queen’s Park in Toronto, gathered together Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs), hospital leaders, and community partners to provide a greater understanding of the
unique role played by CCC and Rehab hospitals within the province’s health care continuum.

The OHA developed a communications package to supplement the video and further emphasize its key messages. The materials contained in the package include:
