Region 3 encompasses the municipalities of Peel, York, Durham and Toronto.
The voting members of the Regional Council are the Full Members (hospitals) of the OHA that are located within that region. The voting members of the Council elect regional directors to the OHA Board of Directors and elect the membership of the Regional Council Executive Committee.
The core responsibilities of the Regional Council are to:
- Elect representatives to the OHA Board of Directors; and
- Elect a Regional Council Executive Committee (RCEC).
The core responsibilities of the RCEC are to:
- Hold an annual meeting of the Members of the Region;
- Engage Regional Council Members in areas of focus chosen by the Region;
- Ensure two-way communication between Regional Council Members, OHA Staff and OHA Board; and enable external links;
- Encourage member participation in the Member Engagement Forums, Membership Satisfaction Survey, other OHA surveys and other opportunities to provide information.
The current members of the OHA Board elected by Region 3 are:

- Michelle DiEmanuele, CEO, The Credit Valley Hospital
- Marcia Visser, Trustee, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
- Drupati Maharaj, Trustee, The Scarborough Hospital
