Welcome to the 2010-2011 OHA Annual Report

Throughout this Annual Report, you will learn more about the range of initiatives undertaken by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) during 2010-2011, our first year implementing our Strategic Directions: 2010-2013. The OHA’s Strategic Directions are guided by the vision of a high-performing health system, because we strongly feel that the patient must be the focus of our efforts

A key priority for the OHA has been supporting hospitals with a range of new reporting requirements mandated by recent legislation such as the Excellent Care for All Act, the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, and changes to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

In the year ahead, guided by our Strategic Directions and working with our members and system partners, we will continue with our efforts to help improve quality of care and patient safety, and to deliver better value for money with the services we provide.
